NRA Basic Pistol Shooting: 

This course is an eight hour class which includes classroom instruction and range time.

Topics included are:

• Gun owners responsibilities 

• Safe handling of the pistol 

• Proper storage of the pistol and ammunition 

• Selecting the proper ammunition for your pistol

• Selecting the correct pistol for the person  

• Types of pistols 

• Proper aiming of the firearm

• Loading and unloading the pistol

• Proper marksmanship skills.    

This course satisfies the training requirement for the Concealed Weapon or Firearm License in the State of Florida.
